Web Site Redesign for Better Business.

If not today—then when?

The world is changing. The way business is done is changing. The way companies market their products is changing. At some point in time every company who wants to succeed will need to embrace the change.

Marketing your product or service has traditionally been a process of getting your message out to potential customers using a variety of media. Now businesses can reduce those expensive marketing dollars and use their web site and other web sites to bring prospects to them. Inbound versus outbound marketing takes brains, it takes time and committment of corporate resources but once up and running it will prove to be the most effective and least expensive way to grow your business today and tomorrow.

Traditional marketing works just fine.

There is no doubt that traditional marketing is not going away. Companies will always market themselves via TV, print, direct mail and direct sales. However the axiom that big marketing budgets drive success is fading. Every year more and more consumers will find products and choose companies to do business with by searching, comparing and analyzing them via the Internet. Want to buy a camcorder? Start your search online—comparing brands by price and feature. Read some unbiased owner reviews. Tap your friends on Facebook. Want to find a real estate lawyer? It’s not really that different of a process.

In fact the the cost of customer acquisition through traditional marketing increases as media alternatives increase. Satellite TV now offers 130 channels in HD. Satellite radio has no commercials. And consumers are finding better ways to block interruptive sales messages with spam filters, caller ID and Tivo. It’s time to explore the alternative.

Take the leap—one step at a time.

The best thing about starting an inbound marketing campaign is that you can take one step at a time.Take for example the blog. A blog allows companies to publish timely, interesting articles that shows mastery of their industry niche. Say you’re a law firm specializing in bankruptcy. All lawyers at your firm are encouraged to blog about a recent case in generic terms.

These blogs are invaluable because:

They give potential clients an easy to understand overview of what they can expect

They make you leaders in your field of expertise

Every blog becomes a page on your website improving your SEO

Every blog is fresh content improving your SEO
